Venonblood Nymph

My contest entry for monthly contest, whose theme is "poison".

Behold the Venonblood Nymph, a wicked species of fae that live deep whithin enchanted forests and jungles.

They can be found around areas rich in poisonous fauna and flora, specially ponds where the roots of the deadly
"floral widow" trees drink, infecting its waters with its virulent sap.

The venonblood Nymph is herself immune to any kind of known toxins and seems to like such venomous substances.
Mostly of them has amphibian like features, but there is tales about flying venonbloods, much like the regular faerie species.
Their bodies have poisonous barbs wich are very dangerous to make contact with.

The Venonblood Nymph is a treacherous being using her magical charms to seduce travellers and other fae into coming to her. Most of them end up drowning in her pond before the poisonous water can take a full deadly effect.
